Network requirements

Before using the device, check that the following requirements are met:
• A broadband connection in combination with a wired / wireless access
point, router or similar network devices.
• The network device must support WLAN 802.11 b/g/n) wireless network
connection.
• A PC or smartphone with a network access point. The mobile device
must be on the same network as your device.
Preparing the network
Establishing a wireless network connection (WLAN):
Make sure the WLAN light on the wired / wireless access point or router is
lit. If necessary, refer to the operating instructions of the respective device.
Note: WLAN allows data to be exchanged wirelessly between devices
over short distances (maximum 20 meters). Walls or ceilings between
devices can weaken the signal strength of the WLAN connection.
Therefore, try to position the devices so that there are as few obstacles
as possible between them.
• Connect the power adapter to the back of the Internet radio and plug
the power plug into the power outlet. Turn on the Internet radio at the
back of the unit.
• When the unit is turned on for the first time, the unit prompts you for
the language and network settings.
