BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before the first use, clean the lid and the tank according to the instructions showed in this manual.
USING THE APPLIANCE
− Make sure that the appliance is unplugged.
− Remove the upper lid and add the desired quantity of coffee beans up to a maximum of 100 g
or until to reach the maximum level showed in the coffee beans tank.
− Make sure that the upper lid and the tank for the ground coffee are properly assembled.
Otherwise, the safety systems will avoid the device to work.
− Select the desired thickness for the ground coffee.
− Select the needed cups: it will automatically establish the time of working.
− Plug the device in and push the ON-OFF button.
− It is recommended to hold the device while is working.
− Once finished, unplug the device and remove the freshly ground coffee.
− NOTE: for getting an optimum flavour it is recommended to grind the coffee just before of
brewing it.
CLEANING
− CAUTION: make sure that the device is always unplugged before any action of cleaning or
maintenance.
− Clean always the product after each use.
− Do not clean the device with a stream of water nor immerse it in water.
− Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
− UPPER LID
o You can clean it in warm, soapy water. Then rinse and dry thoroughly.
− COFFEE BEAN TANK
o The grinding wheel is detachable:
Put the thickness selector in the minimum level

Turn it to the right until remove it.
§
o Clean the tank with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly.
o Replace the grinding wheel, inserting and turning it to the left until it keeps firmly fixed.
− DEPOSIT FOR GROUND COFFEE
o The rests of the ground coffee can be cleaned with a soft and dry brush.
o Then, remove and clean it with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly.
− MAIN BODY
o Clean it with a damp cloth and dry it properly.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal
unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to
