Anleitung HC 10_D_mehrp
Foreword
The HC10-D is a high-grade, electronic humidity and
steam controller. Like the basic units, the controller is
mechanically robust, durable and attractively
designed. By supplementing the basic units with the
HC10-D you can use all the options presented by a
steam sauna. With the HC10-D it is possible to
control boiling evaporators as well as aerosol
generators. Its features include:
infinite electronic control of evaporator output
a maximum switching capacity of 2 kW
visualization of steam cycles by two-color status
LEDs
a separate ON/OFF switch
one-touch operation easy instant starting
Automatic short-time function by one-touch
operation when an aerosol generator is connected
communication with the sauna controllers SC10-T
and SC50-TTC for automated temperature
limitation
The HC10-D adds steam sauna functionality to the
basic units SC10-T and SC50-TTC. It is not designed
to be used on its own, i.e. it is not a stand-alone unit.
With its variable front panel optics the HC10-D
blends elegantly with both the „Classic" and the „De-
Luxe" line of controllers.
Safety information
The electrical connection must be made by a
qualified electrician in accordance with VDE 0100.
It is imperative to observe the directives issued by
your local power supply company.
Repairs are to be carried out by a qualified
electrician only.
Risk of fatal accidents.
Follow the installation and operating instructions at
all costs.
When using the AV50 aerosol atomizer it is essential
to connect the information cable (see the installation
and operating instructions of the AV50). Fix the cable
in place with the clips to be found on the side.
When used independently of an SC 10 T controller,
the unit may only be operated with a type AV 50
aerosol atomizer that is equipped with a thermal
fuse.

Installing the controller
The controller has to be mounted on the outside wall
near the oven (Fig. 1). In most cases there are empty
conduits which show the point of installation. The
controller has to be fastened with the cable bushings
above the empty conduits.
Important:
When installing the controller together with the SC10
T you must break out the mutually opposed cable
bushings and use the supplied duct connector. The
duct connector has to be used in order to ensure
electrical safety. This results in a gap of 29mm
between the two units (Fig. 2).
