5. Configuring printer
• With the printer switched off, press and
hold the programming key and switch the
printer on with the 1 key.
• Use the feed key to select the parameter to
be changed. After every keystroke, the cur-
rent setting of the corresponding parameter
will be printed out.
• Press the programming key to change the
current setting of the selected parameter.
Each time the key is pressed, the setting is
changed and printed out. Recommenda-
tion: Work with the factory settings (see
printout opposite).
• Use the feed key to select the next parameter
or by pressing the programming key and
the feed key simultaneously store the set-
tings and exit the configuration mode (all
settings will be printed out).
6. Changing the ribbon
• Open printer cover and press the ribbon
cassette at the point marked "PUSH".
• Insert new cassette and press downward.
Turn knurled wheel on cassette in the direc-
tion of the arrow to tension the ribbon. Close
printer cover (pull paper through slot in the
cover).
7. Cleaning
• Wipe the exterior of the printer with a moist
cloth and a mild commercial household
cleaning agent and dry it immediately.

5. Drucker konfigurieren
• Bei ausgeschaltetem Drucker die Program-
miertaste gedrückt halten und Drucker mit
der Taste 1 einschalten.
• Mit der Vorschubtaste den zu ändernden
Parameter anwählen. Nach jedem Tasten-
druck wird die aktuelle Einstellung des ent-
sprechenden Parameters ausgedruckt.
• Die Programmiertaste drücken, um die ak-
tuelle Einstellung des gewählten Parame-
ters zu ändern. Bei jedem Tastendruck wird
die Einstellung geändert und ausgedruckt.
Empfehlung: Mit den Werkseinstellungen
arbeiten (s. nebenstehenden Ausdruck).
• Mit der Vorschubtaste den nächsten Para-
meter anwählen oder durch gleichzeitiges
Drücken der Programmiertaste und der
Vorschubtaste die Einstellungen speichern
und den Konfigurationsmodus verlassen
(dabei werden alle Einstellungen ausge-
druckt).
6. Farbband wechseln
• Druckerabdeckung öffnen und auf die mit
"PUSH" markierte Stelle der Farbbandkas-
sette drücken.
• Neue Kassette einsetzen und nach unten
drücken. Rändelrad auf Kassette in Pfeil-
richtung drehen, um das Farbband zu span-
nen. Druckerabdeckung schliessen (Pa-
pier durch Schlitz in der Abdeckung ziehen).
7. Reinigung
• Drucker aussen mit einem feuchten Lappen
und handelsüblichem, mildem Haushalt-
reiniger abwischen und sofort nachtrock-
nen.
