Shower panel – Installation instructions
GB
Dear Customer,
The shower panel you have purchased is a high quality shower column which should be assembled according to the
following steps.
We recommend that the installation be carried out exclusively by a qualified specialist.
Attention: - The main water connection must be shut off prior to installation.
- Despite careful production, sharp edges can occur. Please exercise caution!
When unpacking the glass panel, please take care not to place this onto a hard floor, for example tiles, as this
could damage the panel. Therefore, only remove the lower protective flaps on the corners after assembly.
1. Determining the attachment location
- The shower panel should be assembled so that it covers the wall connections of the water pipes and so that the
flexible connection hoses (15) can be housed within the cavity of the panel.
- The shower panel should be vertically centred over the wall connections.
- Position the height of the panel depending on the size of the person who will later use the shower panel.
2. Determining the drill holes
- Enclosed are wall mounts (12) into which the shower panel cross-bars (16) are later hooked.
- Please observe this when determining the height of the drill holes.
3. Drilling the holes
- Use a 6 mm diameter drill to drill the drill holes.
- Insert the wall plugs (14) into the drill holes.
4. Tightening the wall mount
- Screw the wall mounts (12) onto the wall with the screws (13) so that the mounts rest flat on the wall in the area of
the screw holes.
5. Attachment of the flexible connection hoses (15)
- Screw both of the flexible connection hoses (15) to the wall connections.
- Please observe that the warm water connection is on the right side and the cold water connection is on the left side
as viewed from the rear.
6. Attachment of the shower head (2)
- Attach the cover (2.2) to the connection tube for the overhead shower head (2.1).
- Insert the threaded side of the connection tube (2.1) through the upper drill hole of the panel.
- Subsequently, attach the connection tube (2.1) from the rear with the black seal (21) and the nut (20).
- Insert the seal (19) into the angular screw joint (18) of the connection hose (17) and screw these onto the connection
tube (2.1) from the rear side.
- Finally, screw the shower head (2) with the seal (8) onto the connection tube (2.1).
7. Subsequently, hook the panel into the wall mount.
8. Attachment of the hand shower head holder (4)
- Determine the location of the hand shower head holder (3).
- Mark the holes according to the holes in the hand shower head holder (4), drill the holes and here, too, insert the
wall plugs (11) into the drill holes.
- Now screw on the hand shower head holder (4) with the screws (10).
9. Shower hose (5)
- Insert the seal into the threaded nut of the shower hose (5a) and screw this onto the corresponding connection (9) at
the bottom of the shower panel.
- Insert the second seal into the cone of the shower hose (5b) and screw on the hand shower head (3) here, which
you can then hook into the hand shower head holder (4).
10. After commissioning, check the tightness of the seals in the connections!
Please observe the following during use:
1. The shower head (2) of the shower panel is moveable via a ball joint.
2. Using the diverter (7), you can determine which function is activated (shower head (2), hand shower head (3) or
massage jets (1).
3. The temperature and the water pressure vary according to the underlying fittings (6).
4. The anti-limescale nodules on the massage jets (1) are only partly fitted with holes from which a jet of water can
escape. This is necessary due to the differing pressure conditions of water installations, thus ensuring that a pleasant
massage and shower effect is always achieved.
This is not a production fault and therefore not grounds for complaint!
Surfaces should only be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water or mild detergent. Do not use any other chemical
cleaners or polishes as these may damage the surface.
We hope you enjoy using your new shower panel!
