Intended Use

This appliance is intended to puree and/or mix
foodstuffs and beverages. It is for instance suitable
for preparing mayonnaise, dips, sauces, soups,
baby food and milkshakes.
The appliance is intended for amounts common in
the private household.
Use in hot foods is possible.
It is intended for the use in private households
and similar applications. It is only to be used as
instructed in this user manual. The appliance is not
intended for commercial use.
Any other use is not intended and can result in
damages or personal injuries.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for dam-
ages caused by improper use.

Unpacking the appliance

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials such as films,
filler material, cable clips and carton.
3. Check the contents for completeness.
NOTE:
Production residue or dust may have collected
on the appliance. We recommend cleaning the
appliance according to chapter "Cleaning".

Instructions for use
• Chop up large pieces of solid food before
mashing (max. Ø 1.5 cm) and add a little liquid.
• Short-time operating: Do not operate the
appliance longer than 1 minute continuously.
Leave the device to cool down for at least 1
minute before using again.
Assembly / Dismantling
WARNING: Risk of injury!
When attaching accessories there is the risk of
pinching your fingers. Please be especially care-
ful.
Observe additional Figure on page 3. Assemble
the motor housing and the hand blender as fol-
lows:
1. Press both buttons (5) simulta-
neously.
2. Attach the motor casing (4)
on the blender (6) until it
clicks into place. Observe the
recesses on the blender.
3. Release the buttons. Motor
casing and blender are tightly
connected.
To detach press and hold both buttons simultane-
ously and pull the blender from the motor casing.
Electrical connection
1. Ensure that your mains power corresponds
with the specifications of the appliance. The
specifications are printed on the type label.
2. Connect the mains cable to a properly installed
and earthed wall outlet.
Operation
WARNING:
When using the appliance in hot foods, there is a
risk of burning due to hot splashing.
