Solution
• As soon as you unpack the appliance, check that all the
parts of the appliance are included, see chapter "Overview"
on page 18 and 19. If not, contact us, see chapter
"Spare parts and accessories" on page 31.
• The plug may be inserted incorrectly or may not be inserted at
all.
• The overheating protection may have triggered. In this case,
switch off the appliance and pull the plug from the mains
socket. Remove and empty the dust bin. Clean the filters and
check the hose for blockages. Allow the appliance to cool down
for 1 hour (however, if you have cleaned the filters with water,
allow them to dry for 24 hours before using them again).
• The dust bin may be inserted incorrectly. Remove the dust bin
and check whether it has been re-assembled correctly after
cleaning. Put the dust bin back in the appliance and make sure
that it has been positioned correctly.
• The dust bin may be overfilled. Empty the dust bin, see
"Maintenance" on page 27.
• The pre-motor filter may be blocked.
Clean the filter, see "Maintenance" on page 28.
• The suction hose may be blocked. Remove the suction hose
from the appliance and telescopic extension tube. Remove the
blockage, see "Maintenance" on page 29.
• The electric brush may not be switched on, see "Vacuum
cleaning" on page 26.
• The electric brush may be blocked by soiling. Remove the
soiling, see "Maintenance" on page 29.
