• Never clean CDs, DVDs or Blu-rays longer than
90 seconds and never several times in an ultrasonic
bath. When cleaning CDs etc., never use cleaning
agents, liquid soap or similar.
NOTE:
Secure important data stored on CDs etc. before cleaning,
just in case any damage occurs. The manufacturer is not
liable for any loss of data.
The following items are not suitable
for ultrasonic cleaning
• Objects with cracks or scratches, as well as damaged or
older CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Such indentations are
usually porous and can become even deeper due to the
ultrasonic bath.
• Wood
• Gems, pearls, corals, mother-of-pearl, bling jewellery
(especially those that are silver-plated or gold-plated)
• Leather items
• Clockwork and mechanical clocks with automatic wind, as
spiral springs become magnetized causing the watch to
run inaccurately
• Glasses with frames made of natural or sensitive materials
such as horn or tortoise shell
• Contact lenses
Location
A suitable location is a non-slip, even surface.
Installing accessories
• Always place metal objects into the basket insert in or-
der to avoid discoloration at the contact points between
water tank (stainless steel container) and the object. Also
use the basket insert for smaller items.
• For cleaning wristwatches, use the wristwatch holder
and place it inside the water tank.
• The CD / DVD / Blu-ray holder is suitable for one disc
only. If you want to clean two discs at the same time,
insert the spacer ring between the two discs in order for
the discs not to lie on top of each other.
Cleaning larger objects
You may leave the lid open during operation and place the
desired object first with one side and then with the other side
inside the cleaning bath.
Filling with water
CAUTION:
• Never use the device without water.
• Fill the water tank with cold water only.
NOTE:
For heavy staining, you may use a commercially available
special cleaner for ultrasonic cleaning devices. Observe the
correct dosage.
1. Place the objects to be cleaned in the water tank.
2. Fill the water tank with cold water, covering the surfaces
to be cleaned and at the same time observing the MAX
markings inside the water tank and basket respectively!
Maximum filling quantity after all objects, as well as any
plastic holders, have been placed in the water tank: 600 ml.
Following the sequence in reverse could result in water spill-
ing over.
