IMPORTANT! Do not continuously operate the appliance too long. The motor may overheat. Do not allow the
appliance to operate more than 30 seconds at one time. 60 seconds rest time must be maintained between two
consecutive cycles.
CAUTION!

To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base without first putting bowl properly in place.

Be sure the chopper lid is securely locked in place before operating the appliance.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE

Unplug the appliance and then disassemble it.

Wash the stainless steel shaft under the running water. Do not use abrasive cleaner or detergent. Do not
immerse the stainless steel shaft in water as the lubrication on the bearings may be washed away over time.
After cleaning, place the shaft upright so that any water which may have got in can drain out. The stainless steel
shaft is the only part that can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Wash the measuring cup, chopper bowl and blade in warm soapy water. Do not put them in a dishwasher for
cleaning purpose.

Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as electric shock may occur.
5.
Dry parts thoroughly after cleaning. Caution: Blades are very sharp. Handle with care.
Quick cleaning:
Between processing tasks, hold the hand-held blender in the cup half filled with water and turn on for a few seconds.
Recycling
This product bears the selective sorting symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE).
This means that this product must be handled pursuant to European Directive 2012/19/EU in
order to be recycled or dismantled to minimize its impact on the environment.

collaboration with the manufacturer.
Security
This HEMA item may be fitted with a plastic anti-theft strip. You will find the strip on the bottom of the product.
This strip does not influence the quality or the operation of the product and can be removed without a problem.
Faults and repairs
If this device needs to be repaired, you can hand it in at a HEMA branch after packing the product securely. Do not
try to repair this product yourself. For repairs that fall within the warranty period, you will need to show a proof of
purchase and the warranty document. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If there is any damage to the
cord set, please return the item to a HEMA branch for repair. Do not try to replace it yourself. For safety reasons we
recommend that you do not carry out any repairs to an electrical device yourself.
