VI. INSTALLATION
The door chime should be directly installed in a 230 V AC power outlet. The
plug is universal. It can be used with sockets type E and F.
VII. INSTALLATION AND USE of microSD CARD
The card is installed in the door chime by default. When recording sounds
before removing the card, the door chime should be disconnected from po-
wer supply. Similarly, the card should be placed in the door chime (in the
appropriate slot) before inserting it into the 230 V AC socket.
Direction in which the card should be inserted to the slot is shown in section
IV. APPEARANCE. The slot in the door chime features an automatic ejector.
To install or remove the card, press it in with a thin tool (for example, a small
flat screwdriver). The card must be compatible with the FAT32 file system.
Recommended maximum card capacity is 16GB.
AMBILED quickly flashes in blue if there is not card or is there is a problem
with reading the sound file. If the file is read incorrectly, disconnect the door
chime from the power supply, remove the faulty file, put the card back into
the door chime and put it in the 230 V AC socket.
The order of reading audio files from the card is consistent with the order in
which they were placed on the card. The door chime reads stereo MP3 files
with a constant bit rate (CBR). Use a PC to upload files to the card.
VIII. OTHER INFORMATION
- If the sound is played after the door chime is switched on using PDH-250
button, it can be stopped by briefly pressing the MELODY button.
- The door chime buffers up to two presses on the PDH-250 transmitter, i.e.
if another (or the same) transmitter is pressed when the melody is played,
after the current melody has been played, the same or a different melody
(associated with the second pressed transmitter) will be played automati-
cally.
