To Set the Speed Function
1.
Rotate the speed control knob clockwise to increase the speed and
counterclockwise to decrease speed. The display will indicate the rpm set.
2.
Press the speed control knob to start shaking or set timing function (see
instructions below).
3.
The speed control optical encoder provides instant readout of the actual
platform rotation speed.
To Set the Timer Function
1.
Rotate the timer control knob clockwise to increase the time and
counterclockwise to decrease time. The display will indicate the minutes set.
2.
Press the speed control knob to start shaking or change speed setting (see
instructions above).
3.
The speed control optical encoder provides instant readout of the actual
platform rotation speed.
4.
Unit will beep once programmed time has expired. Platform will stop shaking.
5.
Remove vessels once platform has completely stopped.
To Set the Continuous Timing Function
1.
Press the time control knob to set for continuous use.
2.
Press the speed control knob to start shaking or change speed setting (see
instructions above).
3.
The speed control optical encoder provides instant readout of the actual
platform rotation speed.
To Stop Shaking Function
1.
Press the speed control knob to stop shaking.
2.
Remove vessels once platform has completely stopped.
Note:
—After an interruption in the power supply during shaking operation, the shaker will not start running
again by itself.

Maintenance
WARNING!
Disconnect plug from electrical outlet before attempting any maintenance.
SEA STAR™ is normally maintenance-free. Clean unit only when it is not plugged
into an electrical outlet. When necessary, the housing, platform, and mat can be
wiped using a damp cloth and a mild, non-corrosive detergent. The mat must
remain clean to maintain its friction-gripping quality.
WARNING!
Do not use any solvent on the unit that may attack plastic or cause damage.
Ensure the housing and platform are protected from corrosion and mechanical
damage. The housing and platform must be cleaned with a neutral cleaning
liquid.
Note:
—Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry prior to operation.

If the above recommendation does not solve current problems, contact your
authorized dealer or manufacturer directly.
Solution
Clear of obstacles.
