OREKA HELMET
CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE
FALL ARRESTER
The OREKA helmet is classified as PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment )
in compliance with PPE Regulation EU 2016/425 and it is in conformity to
the European Norm EN 397:2012+A1:2012.
APPLICATION
OREKA helmet is an industrial safety helmet intended to be used for works
at height and rescue, certified according to EN 397, to protect against
falling objects and consequential brain injury and skull fractures. The chin
strap provides a load resistance of 15 daN-25 daN (EN 397).
OREKA is a ventilated helmet, having no additional testing for electrical
insulation. Do not use this helmet in activities for which has not been
designed.
The practice of activities at height involve serious risk of head injury.
Wearing a helmet reduces to a large extent this risk, but cannot eliminate it
entirely.
See the label on the inside of the helmet to determine the optional
requirements that it meets.
MATERIAL: Housing made of ABS and webbing made of polyester.
USE:
For an adequate protection, the helmet must be properly adjusted and
secured in the head by following the next steps:
1. Before donning, rotate the back dial anti-clockwise until it reaches its

widest position.
2. Put on the helmet on your
head and adjust the size to the
user's head by turning the dial
clockwise to tighten and
anti-clockwise to loosen.
3. Position the back in the
neck, adjusting the tilt if
necessary.
4. Fasten the chin strap and
close buckle by inserting one
side of the buckle into the
other, until you hear the
locking mechanism click shut
the chin strap is fixed under
the chin. Tug the chin strap to
ensure that the buckle is
securely fastened.
