FILTER BENEFITS
-The filter helps reduce the chlorine and lime contained in the
water. These substances may affect the taste and smell of tap
water. It also reduces the aluminium content and that of other
heavy metals (copper and lead), as well as of some pesticides
(such as diuron) and organic impurities.
-The result is cleaner, clearer and purer water with an excellent
taste for hot and cold beverages. When used for cooking it also
helps obtain more delicious dishes.
-Thanks to the filtered water, both vegetables and pulses are
cooked better. The filter helps reduce scale deposits that usually
appear on household appliances that work with tap water, such as
kettles, coffee-makers and irons.
Warning: The filter does not reduce the fluoride content that is in
the water and does not add either salt or sodium to the filtered
water. On the contrary, it helps preserve the necessary minerals
for your well-being.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Before using the jug for the first time, wash it out with soap and
water.
-For greater healthiness, wash your hands with soap before
mounting the filter.
-Take the filter out of the bag and immerse in cold water for about
15 minutes. Make sure that the entire filter is covered with water.
Shake it a little to eliminate any air bubbles that might be inside it.
-When the 15 minutes have elapsed, take the filter and rinse
under the cold water tap until the water comes out totally clear.
-Place the funnel inside the jug and insert the filter in place.
Then, pour water into the jug.
-Fill the jug up twice and throw the water away or use it to water
plants, as the first two times are only to prepare the filter.
-Remember to point the filter change indicator to the current
month. This will remind you that you must change the jug filter
every two months.
For maximum efficiency of the filter, change it every 2
months or approximately every 120 litres filtered per month.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

-Do not use abrasive detergents or products that might damage
the appliance.
-The entire jug can be washed in the dish-washer except for the
filter.
