PROBES
The primary purpose of the probes is to detect and measure light in its
various aspects; for this reason different types of probes are available.
For measuring ILLUMINANCE, IRRADIANCE and LUMINANCE, the pro-
bes are complete with filters and diffusors which correct or limit their range.

The size of the silicon sensor used is 37.7 mm .
Depending on the model, the probe container is made of ABS or black oxi-
dized ANTICORODAL UNI 9006/4; the filters are made of special glass,
while the diffusors are made of opaline plastic material specially designed
for the purpose. The probe is complete with 1.5 metres of flexible cable
and a DIN 45236 8-pole connector. Inside the probe is an electronic circuit
that amplifies and codes the signal supplied by the sensor. The probes are
calibrated individually and are therefore interchangeable.
