Changing the battery

WARNING!
Choking Hazard!
Battery is small object. Keep Battery out of reach of small
children. If swallowed, consult a physician immediately.
If the message "Lo" appears on the display, replace the inserted battery
(button cell) as follows (see Fig. E):
1. Carefully turn the bathroom scale over.
2. Use a cross-slotted screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery
compartment cover.
3. Take the cover of the battery compartment off.
4. Take the inserted battery out of the compartment and dispose of it in
accordance with applicable regulations (see chapter "Disposal").
5. Insert a new battery of the same type in the battery compartment.
Make sure the polarity is correct ("+" side is facing up).
6. Put the cover back on the battery compartment so that it locks into place.
7. Use the cross-slotted screwdriver and tighten the screw on the cover of the
battery compartment.
You have successfully replaced the battery.
