Diagonal cutting:
1. Position the squaring tool at the angle desired
following the 45° angle rip guide (Fig.12).
2. Carry out the procedure for "linear cutting" from
point 1 to point 6.
45° cutting on a diagonally cut tile:
1. Carry out point 1 of "Diagonal cutting".
2. Carry out points 1 to 4 of " 45° cuts".
3. Carry out the procedure for "linear cutting" from point
1 to point 6.
Rectangular cutting:
1. Loosen the motor unit locking screw grip so that the
blade can move freely.
2. Position the squaring tool as in Figure 13 and fix it in
place with the special screw grip.
3. Place the tile on the squaring tool with the glazed
surface facing downwards.
4. With the machine turned off, place the diamond blade
over the tile in the position at which the rectangle
is desired.
5. Start up the motor and slowly lower the blade so that
the tile is cut along one side of the rectangle desired.
6. Repeat point 5 for the remaining three sides of
the rectangle.

WARNINGS

• There must only be one operator during the cutting operations.
• With the exception of the operator, all persons must keep clear of the machine during cutting.
• The operator must be wearing all the personal safety equipment before starting up the machine (see Fig. 8).
• Water is essential for cooling and lubricating the diamond blade. Use of the blade without water will damage the
blade and shorten its working life.
• Do not put excessive pressure on the blade since this could cause destructive bending of the blade
during cutting.
• Excessive pressure on the materials to be cut could also cause the blade to overheat.
• All adjustments must be carried out and worn parts replaced with the machine disconnected from the
power supply.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: All maintenance work, whether ordinary or special, must be carried out with the machine
disconnected from the power supply.

ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

Ordinary maintenance work (cleaning and lubrication) and checks on the state of the machine parts must be done
at least once a week. The only ordinary maintenance, which can be carried out by the operator, comprises:
1. Replacing the blade.
2. Cleaning the machine completely.
