3.Dry hands and plug cleaner into aproperly grounded
outlet.
4. Pre-spray the carpeted s tairby holding the toolaboutoneinch
above t he carpet and push i tforward while pressing the trigger (equals one
wet s troke, Fig. 4 .4).
5.Position tool a gainst theriser and slightly press i tinto carpet pile. Press the
trigger and pull thetool s lowly over the carpet (second wet s troke). Release
trigger atend ofstroke.
6.Lifttool, a ndposition it against riser. Pull toolslowly o ver c arpet without
pressing trigger (dry stroke, Fig. 4 .5.)
7.Overlap strokes by1/2inch tohelp prevent streaking.
