2. Clean the accumulated powder of carbon brush periodically.It is essential to check the
carbon brush periodically. If its length is left than 7.5 mm, it is absolutely necessary to
replace the carbon brush immediately. While replacing, smoothly insert carbon brush into
carbon brush holder into the first place, then put brush cap into the hole. Before tightening
the carbon brush holder, make sure to position the O-RING. A set of carbon brush
consists of 2 pcs. of carbon brush. Ascertain to replace 2 pcs. of carbon brush on
opposite sides of the winch body every time. (Pict. 12+Pict. 13)
3. Winch are prefabricated at the factory and do not reqire initial lubrication. Relubrication
interval depends upon service. Recommended oil replenishment quantity & intervals are
as follows: CWS-80: 100 ccm, CWS-160:+CWS-230: 250 ccm.
a) First change after 350 hours of service
b) After the first change, please change once a year.
c) Please use: Caltex Multifak Ep or Cosmogear SE 220 or NLGI NO.O.
d) Oil hole (Pict. 14)
4 Please check every time before use:
a) Braking device are composed of a mechanic brake and an electronic generated
brake. The brake distance from the time of braking until stopping completely should
be within 1.5 % of rope length to the wound during 1 minute. The rope speed on no
load is 1.5-1.8 times of rated speed on rated load.
b) Reaction after pressing the buttons of the switch
c) Connection of plug, power cord or switch cord
d) Is the rope in a proper condition?
