A Remove the battery compartment
the upper and lower sides of the glass scraper
B Place 1.5 V/ AA /LR6 batteries
Note: When closing the battery compartment make sure that the O-ring
is clean and undamaged.
C Place the blade
D Then press the blade in an upwards direction until it clicks into place.
Caution: To avoid injury when assembling/disassembling the blade, do
not remove the blade guard
E To facilitate cleaning of deeper aquariums, attach the extension handle
to the glass scraper.
Simply insert the glass scraper into the retainer on the handle.
F Then push the safety catch

To release the glass scraper from the extension handle again, push the

safety catch down and press the handle release

This allows the retainer on the extension handle to be easily released from

the glass scraper which can then be removed again.
H Remove blade guard by pressing on the sides.

Press the ON switch
which additionally shines light onto the cleaning area.

Caution: This appliance is solely to be used for cleaning aquarium
glass.
K Avoid the glass scraper coming into contact with the silicone seals at the
corner.
Caution: Please ensure that the glass scraper does not damage the
silicone seals at the corners of the aquarium as this may cause your
aquarium to leak.
Note: Do not use the glass scraper in gravel /substrate.
To protect the blade and avoid injury, replace the blade guard on the glass
scraper after cleaning.
Exchanging the blade L - M
Caution: To avoid injury when assembling/disassembling the blade, do
not remove the blade guard
Replace the blade when cleaning performance begins to deteriorate.
L To release the blade from the attachment, press it downwards at a 90°
angle.
M The blade can then be removed upwards.
