6 Operating the coffee machine

WARNING!
Do not use the device during journeys, but only when the vehicle is stationary.
Securing the coffee machine
➤ Use the two securing clips and self-tapping screws supplied to fix the coffee machine
to a suitable surface (fig. 2, page 3).
Before initial use
➤ Place the coffee cup in the coffee machine before switching it on.
➤ Brew one to two lots of clear, cold water without the filter or coffee to clean the coffee
machine (fig. 3, page 3 to fig. 5, page 4).
Do not fill the water tank above the maximum fill line.
➤ Pour the brewed water away and thoroughly rinse the coffee cup under running water.
➤ Put the coffee filter back in the machine.

NOTICE!
Never use hot water. Never put milk, ready-made coffee, tea etc. in the water
tank.
This could seriously damage the coffee machine.
➤ Place the required amount of coffee in the filter.
➤ Fill the water tank with clear, cold water.
Do not fill the water tank above the maximum fill line.
➤ Put the coffee cup in the coffee-maker.
➤ Set the On/Off switch (fig. 1 A, page 3) to "1" to start the brewing process.
➤ Turn the on/off switch (fig. 1 A, page 3) to "0" when brewing is finished and you have
removed the coffee cup.
➤ If you want to switch off the device, pull out the connection cable.
