Open the sandwich grill and place the food to be prepared on the bottom plate. Close the sandwich grill and close the locking
mechanism. Grilling takes approximately three to eight minutes, depending on the type of food and your personal taste.
Remove the food with a wooden or plastic spatula, in order to protect the non-stick coating. Do not use metal or sharp objects.
Warning: fillings of toasted sandwiches get very hot. So do be careful, particularly in the case of children.
After use, always remove the plug from the socket.
1. Place the sandwich grill on a stable heat-resistant surface.
2. Close the lid and close the locking mechanism.
3. Fully unwind the cord and insert the plug in the wall socket. The appliance is on.
4. Allow the appliance to heat up and prepare the sandwiches in the meantime.
5. When the green indicator led is off, the appliance is ready for use.
6. Open the lid and grease the plates with a little butter or oil.
7. Place the sandwiches on the bottom plate. Make sure the filling of the sandwiches is not too thick.
8. Close the lid and close the locking mechanism.
9. Open the lid after 2 minutes to check the colour of the sandwiches.
10. A minimum baking time of 4-5 minutes is recommended. Bake the sandwiches until they have the required colour.
Vary the baking time to get a different colour, from golden brown to crispy brown.
11. When the toasted sandwiches are ready, they can be removed from the appliance with a wooden or plastic spatula.
12. Close the lid after the sandwiches have been removed and allow the appliance to heat up again. Wait for the green
indicator led to turn off again and place new sandwiches on the bottom plate.
13. Remove the plug from the socket when you have finished baking and open the appliance to allow it to cool down.
Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance. Allow the sandwich grill to cool down fully.
This will go faster if you leave the sandwich grill open.
• After every use, remove any food residues from the inside of the sandwich grill.
• Wash the grill plates by hand using hot water to which a little washing-up liquid has been added.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth or soft sponge with a little washing-up liquid.
• Dry the inside and outside of the appliance.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning the appliance or the plates.
• Never submerge the sandwich grill in water or any other liquid.
STORAGE
For the purpose of compact storage, you can place the sandwich grill
vertically in the cabinet.
