CAUTION: Please ensure that the beaker is fi rmly connected to the motor section.
• Always fi ll the vessel with liquid fi rst before switching the device on.
• The beaker becomes hot if it is fi lled with hot liquid. Danger of burns.
• Please do not use the foamer if the axle is bent.
• This device should only be used for the purpose intended.
• Please do not immerse the device in water.
Preliminary Cleaning
Before using the device for the fi rst time you should clean it in order to remove any residues
from the production process. Please follow the instructions contained in the „Cleaning"
section.
Remove the beaker from the device by turning it in an anticlockwise direction; then reattach
and tighten it.
NOTE:
If the device is not used for a considerable period or the battery is not charged up, it is
possible that the spiral will not start. Set the foaming spiral in motion with a rod or spoon.
Charging the Battery
• Connect the plug of the power pack to the DC 3 V socket on the device.
• Connect the mains adapter to a 230 V/50 Hz socket.

Special Safety Instructions for this Device

WARNING: Use of Standard and Rechargeable Batteries
Only rechargeable batteries may be charged up with the mains adapter.
Do not replace rechargeable batteries with non-rechargeable ones.
There is a danger of explosion if you attempt to charge up non-rechargeable
batteries!
NOTE:
The charging time the fi rst time the battery is charged is hours and
each subsequent charge.
