NOTE: In absolute-angle measurement and relative-angle measurement modes, when the
tool inclines more than approximately 45° forward or backward from vertical, the LCD screen
will indicate "- - - -" (FIG. 4).

Audio
Press the Unit-Conversion/Audio Button for more than 1 second to turn the audio on
or off. The audio activation indicator will display in the LCD when the audio is activated.
The tool will beep at 0°, 45° and 90°, with ±1° accuracy, when the audio is activated. When
the deviation (positive or negative) is between 0.1 to 0.5 degree of 0°, 45° or 90°, the tool
will beep a more frequently; from 0.6 to 1.0 degree of 0°, 45° or 90°, the tool will beep less
frequently.
NOTE: The audio will be off before the first use. If the audio is activated when the tool is
turned off, it will remain active when the tool is turned back on.
Hold
To hold and display the measurement, press the Hold Button when the required measurement
is displayed; the LCD screen will display "H".
To release the hold, press the Hold Button again.
NOTE: When entering into the relative-angle measurement mode and the icon REF is
displayed, you may press the Hold Button to hold the measurement in the LCD display or to
release the hold. When both the REF and hold functions are activated, press the Relative-
Angle Measurement Button or press the Power Button (no more than 1 second), and
the tool will go back to the initial Absolute-angle measurement without the hold and REF icons.
