Troubleshooting
Check that the mains supply
(socket) functions correctly.
Ask a competent person for advice
if necessary.
Have the mains cable replaced
by the manufacturer or the
manufacturer's representative.
Disconnect the machine from the
mains. Allow the soldering iron to
cool down. Tighten the
soldering tip fixing screw.
Wait until the soldering iron is hot
enough.
Allow the machine
to cool down completely and
check whether the soldering tip
is loose.
