‧ Protect the mains socket and mains plug against moisture
and wetness. A drip loop must be formed with the mains

This prevents any water running along the cable to the
mains socket, which would result in a short-circuit.

mains socket.

WARNING! Burning and fire hazards due to hot surfaces.

1. Place the ice preventer in your garden pond.
2. Insert the mains plug in the mains socket.
Attention: The ice preventer is operating immediately!
Switching off the ice preventer
1. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Thermal circuit breaker
The heater is equipped with a thermal circuit breaker as protection against overheating and any associated fire
hazards. In the event of the heater being accidentally operated outside the water, it will be switched off. After
diconnecting from the electrical supply, the heater will switch back on automatically after 60 minutes.
