• The iron most not be left unattended while is connected to the supply
mains.
• The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water
reservoir is filled with water.

• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Never use the appliance in a humid room.
• Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any
other fluid.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised while it is switched on.
• Place the appliance on a stable, heat resistant surface where it cannot
fall over.
• Make sure you do not become caught up in the power cord.
• Do not use the appliance again if it has been dropped and shows
signs of damage or leaks.
• Make sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance,
power cord or plug.
• Do not pick up the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug
from the wall socket immediately. No not use the device again.
• Verify that the appliance is set to the correct voltage before you put
the plug in the wall socket.
• Clean the appliance thoroughly after use (see 'Cleaning and
maintenance').
• Never hold the iron upside down during use. Hot water could drip from
the iron and cause burns.
