Function
The measuring principle is based on a conductive sensor. The
water level is determined based on the conductivity of the pool
water. The sensor has no DC voltage part and there is therefore
no electrolysis property. The control output can be used, for
example, to fill up the water via a solenoid valve or ball valve.
Other output contacts can be used for additional functions.
Different safety mechanisms are available to avoid property
damages by overflow, for example.
The sensor has a safe low voltage.
All the parameters can be changed. A lot of service data are
provided for checking.
A VS-pump can be timer-controlled as a secondary function.
3.1.1
Appropriate sensors
If two stainless steel pins are installed at the pool, these can be
used. If no pins are available, two different versions can be used.
Conductive sensor with 5 m or 25 m cable (2606402161 or
2606402171).
To prevent sensor faults, the cable may not be extended. Not
even by a shielded cable.
A 25 m cable must be used if necessary.
To avoid sensor errors, the cable must be fully reeled out.
3.1.2
Switching position outputs of the device
•
Water level reached or not reached
•
Fill up water or do not fill up water
•
Safety blocking: do not fill up
