Adjusting the Cutting Angle
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Loosen the winged screws 7 and 15.
It is best to place the machine on the face side of
the blade guard.
Tilt the base plate away from the machine until
the required cutting angle is adjusted on the cut-
ting angle scale 5.
Tighten the winged screws again.
Note: For mitre cutting, the cutting depth is
smaller than the value shown on the cutting depth
scale 24.
Cutting Marks
45°
0°
The cutting mark 0° ( 10) indicates the position of
the saw blade for right-angled cuts.
The cutting mark 45° ( 9) indicates the position of
the saw blade for 45° cuts.
Both cutting marks include the width of the saw
blade. Always guide the saw blade off of the
drawn-up cutting line so that the required meas-
ure is not reduced by the width of the saw blade.
For this, choose the corresponding notch side of
the cutting mark 0° ( 10) or 45° ( 9) as shown in
the illustration.
Note: It is best to carry out a trial cut.
