• 100 kHz reproduction
The newly-developed
Nanocomposite HD (High Definition)
Driver Unit reproduces ultra-wideband
from low to 100 kHz by only one unit.
• Super lightweight with frame structure
• Porous housing
By adopting a porous housing with a
cellulose material finished to give
appropriate air-flow resistance,
unpleasant resonance is minimized and
eliminated some weights of the unit.
• Widen headpad
By expansion of the width of the
headpad to ensure wider contact area to
diffuse the pressure on the head, and
adoption of high elastic mesh fabric,
gives a natural wearing comfort with light
weight and good ventilation.

Precautions
Preventing hearing damage
Avoid using headphones with the volume
turned up for an extended period of time.
Doing so can damage your hearing. It is
advisable to keep the volume at a moderate
level at all times.
Road safety
Never use headphones while driving or
cycling, etc. It can be dangerous to turn up
the volume too much even while walking.
Doing so may hinder your hearing and can
be hazardous especially at level crossings or
pedestrian crossings.
Caring for others
Remember not to disturb people around you
with the sound leaking from your
headphones. Keep the volume level
moderate even in noisy places so that you
will be able to hear other people when they
talk to you.
Notes on usage
• Do not put weight or pressure on the
headphones as it may cause the
headphones to deform during long
storage.
• Do not subject the headphones to strong
shock by dropping or banging.
• Handle the unit part with care.
• Do not leave the headphones in a location
subject to direct sunlight, heat or
moisture.
• Leaving the plug dirty may cause sound
distortion.
• Clean the headphones with a soft dry
cloth.
• Do not use strong solvents (benzene,
alcohol, etc) when cleaning the
headphones. Doing so may cause
discoloration, deformation, deterioration
and other damages.
• Newly developed low-repulsion urethane
earpads work best to your wearing
comfort at temperatures of about 10 °C or
higher (room temperatures). The earpads
may feel rather hard in the low
temperature settings. This does not
indicate deterioration of the earpads.
Their original softness will be restored at
room temperature.
• The earpads may deteriorate due to
long-term storage or use.
• For changing the earpads or repairing the
headphones, please consult a Sony dealer.
• The CE mark on the unit is valid only for
products marketed in the European
Union.
