1.3. Description and connections

The main feature of wideband amplifiers ZM 3XX / ZM 340 FI / ZM 4XX / ZM 5XX is the possibility of configuring the
amplified bands through FEI filters series.
The difference between the different models is the number of inputs and the gain. The maximum level of terrestrial output
is 114 dBuV for the ZM 3XX models, 119 dBuV for the ZM 4XX models and 125 dBuV for ZM 5XX models.
The configuration of each terrestrial input is made by connectable filters which are placed inside the amplifiers, by default
these inputs will have a filter which allows passing the complete band.
The VHF 2 input of all the models will not have any filter and the installer himself will choose if he wants to use it or not.
The models ZM 330 LTE, ZM 340 LTE and ZM 350 LTE have installed one filter FDD2160 in each UHF input.
The UHF inputs have jumpers that allow feeding preamplifiers in cases where the installation needs it. The UHF 3 input in
ZM 350, ZM 350 LTE and ZM 550 models does not have power pass.
Model ZM 340 FI has a satellite input that will allow amplifying FI signal and mixing it with terrestrial signal, this way we
will have terrestrial + satellite signal at the output. The LNC is fed directly from the satellite receiver.
These amplifiers are provided with a hermetic frame made of aluminium with a removable cover that allows the installer to
configure the amplifier according to the needs of each installation.
Inside the device there is a simplified sketch that shows the different stages of the amplifier and also the access to
configure the different options that it offers is provided.
