Before the first use

This unit brings water to boil in a
few minutes.
To clean the unit, first fill the unit
with clear, cold water and then
boil it. Subsequently pour away
the water.

CAUTION
Follow the safety instructions
below to prevent hazards and
property damage:
► Do not fill the electric kettle
with water past the highest
mark. Water that bubbles
over can lead to injuries.
► Do not open the lid during
the boiling process.
Do not touch the outer wall

of the unit; it can get very
hot.
Never immerse the unit or

the base station into water
or any other liquid.
Touch the unit only on the

handle.
Make sure there is always

sufficient water in the unit
(the bottom should be cov-
ered) to prevent dry boiling.

► Switch the unit on only after
you have filled it with water.
