Assembly
Mounting the Drill Stand
Supporting Angles
The supporting angles 14 can be mounted in two posi-
tions:
•
The starting position (see Fig. A) is necessary when
the GDB 2500 WE is inserted into the drill stand and
the drill stand is not securely fastened with an
anchor, by vacuum or with a quick-clamping column.
•
The space-saving position (see Fig. B) is only possi-
ble when using the GDB 1600 WE/DE or when the
drill stand is securely fastened to the wall. Assembly
of the water collection ring (accessory) for the
GDB 2500 WE is not possible in this position.
To switch between both positions, loosen the knurled
screws 15, adjust the supporting angles 14 to the
required position and tighten them again with the knurled
screws.
Feed Handle
Press the lock pin 19 on the feed handle and keep it
pressed. Slide the feed handle 18 to the stop left or
right of the drill fixture 8 as required.
Release the lock pin 19 and check the feed handle for
tight seating.
3
Afterwards, block the feed: Pull the feed lock 3 upward
(A), turn it (B) and allow it to engage in position
required, lightly rotate the feed handle 18 until the lock
can be heard to engage.
Release the feed only for drilling: Pull the feed lock 3
upward (A), turn it (B) and allow it to engage in position
.
Transport Wheels
For transport of the drill stand, screw the transport
wheels 17 to the sides of the drill stand with the hexa-
gon screws 16.
