Cleaning
•
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
•
Use a cleaning product specifically for coffee brewers. Dissolve the cleaning product in
water before pouring it into the water tank. Remember to run a brew cycle with clean
water after the cleaning process.
•
If necessary, the exterior of the appliance may be cleaned with a damp cloth without
any additives.
•
Filter holder, coffee carafe and lid can be washed in hot soapy water or placed in the
top rack of the dishwasher.
•
Never wash other parts of the device in the dishwasher. Never use strong detergents,
scouring powders, steel wool or other release agents on any part of the brewer.
•
Do not clean the carafe or heating plate with cleansers, steel wool pads or other abra-
sive materials.
Descaling
•
Use a commercially available decalcifying detergent.
•
We recommended for the longevity of the brewer that descaling to be done on a regu-
lar basis.
Electrical connection
Check the voltage where you use the appliance. It should be the same as specified on the
appliance. For details, see the label on the base plate.
