TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR MR. COFFEE
Your MR. COFFEE
®
Precision™ Coffee Grinder with Chamber Maid™ Cleaning System has
been carefully designed to give you many years of trouble-free service. In the unlikely
event that your new coffee grinder does not operate satisfactorily, please review the
following potential problems and try the steps recommended BEFORE you call an
Authorized Sunbeam Service Center.
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
UNIT DOES NOT GRIND
• Grinding chamber lid is open
• Grinding chamber
is not in position
• Start Lever has not been
pressed
• Unit is unplugged
• There's a power outage
• If after trying all of the above
the unit still does not grind,
the motor has overheated,
thermal fuse is broken
THE COFFEE GROUNDS
• Grind setting or cups
PRODUCED ARE NOT
setting is incorrect
PROPERLY GROUND
• Insufficient amount of
whole beans used
Please do not exceed maximum capacity of 12 tbsp.
• Chamber lid opened
during operation
• Unit is not clean
• Foreign object is obstructing
the grinder blades
UNIT STOPS GRINDING
• Grinding chamber lid
has been opened
• Unit has been unplugged
• There's a power outage
