Stagnation flush to maintain water quality:
EN
Check whether the ejection times of 30 s, listed in EN 806-2, section 3.6, along with the associated tempera-
tures, can be complied with (max. 25°C in cold water and at least 60 °C in hot water). If values are exceeded
in actual operation, program automatic stagnation flush in such a way that a sufficient water flow is ensured
(see p. 25).
Thermal disinfection:
Where there are excessive numbers of legionella, check the drinking water installation, remedy possible faults,
clean according to rules and regulations in order to then carry out a thermal disinfection if necessary (see p. 30).
Fittings with temperature control:
WARNING: No scald protection, temperature mix ratio changes with higher hot water temperatures.
Commissioning:
From the point when the drinking water system is filled, a regular water exchange must be ensured according
to EN 806-5. Regular water exchange must be carried out or arranged by the contractor until handover to the
operator. Automatic stagnation flush can also be enabled for fittings with eSCHELL electronics (see p. 25).
Service instructions:
Safety devices, such as backflow preventers, are to be serviced or replaced at regular intervals according to
EN 806-5. For frequently used backflow preventers in fittings of type EB, annual inspection intervals and 10-year
replacement intervals are for example prescribed.
In these circumstances, we further recommend checking the spray regulator and filter and if necessary cleaning
them, or replacing them if they are damaged.
Operator briefing:
Brief operator according to EN 806-4.
