Use
Fill the electric kettle with water. The water
level should be between the MIN and MAX
marks.
Plug in.
Turn the electric kettle on by pressing the
on/off button. The indicator light comes on.
Once the water boils, the electric kettle
automatically switches off .
The lid must not be lifted when pouring
water from the electric kettle.
Pour the rest of the water away and put the
kettle down.

Cleaning and maintenance

Wipe the outside of the electric kettle with a
well-wrung cloth.

Descaling
The electric kettle should be descaled
regularly, depending on the hardness of the
local water.
Pour 100 ml of acetic acid and 300 ml of tap
water into the electric kettle and bring to
the boil.
Leave the electric kettle to stand for around
10 minutes once it switches off . Pour the
solution away and � ll the electric kettle with
clean water and boil twice more to remove
any residues of the solution.
You can also use a commercial descaling
agent available from supermarkets. Follow
the instructions on the packaging.
