SWITCHING ON/OFF
To put into operation, with the switch (1) in the "Off" position,
insert the plug into the mains receptacle. Set switch to
required temperature setting (low or high).
NOTE: During operation the red indicator will light up until the
correct operating temperature has been reached again.
To switch off, pull the mains plug.
Allow the unit to cool completely before storing. The hot
nozzle can cause damage.
GETTING STARTED
PREPARATIONS FOR GLUING
The surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry and free of
grease. Roughen smooth surfaces before gluing. DO NOT
USE INFLAMMABLE SOLVENTS FOR CLEANING! The ambient
temperature and the work piece to be glued must not be
colder than +5 °C or warmer than +50 °C. Warm rapidly
cooling materials (e.g., steel) for better adhesion.
GLUING
DANGER OF BURNING! The glue and the nozzle tip (4) are heated
to 195 °C. Do not allow the hot glue to come into contact with
persons or animals. If hot glue touches the skin, immediately
hold the spot for some minutes under a stream of cold water. Do
not try to remove the glue from the skin. Insert the glue stick (5).
Press the feed trigger (6).
NOTE: For your first use, you may need to load up to two full
glue sticks before glue begins to flow.
CLEANING
BEFORE ANY WORK ON THE UNIT ITSELF, PULL THE MAINS
PLUG. Always keep the unit clean so that it functions properly
and accurately.

USE
CHANGING GLUE STICKS
Do not attempt to remove the unused portion of the glue stick
from your glue gun. If you need to switch glue stick formulas,
empty the melting chamber by squeezing the trigger and
insert new formula.
CHANGING NOZZLES
WARNING! Disconnect the plug from the power source and
allow the tool to cool before attempting to change the nozzle.
Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of
accidental burns.
The Dremel Glue Gun comes with two additional nozzles. To
remove the nozzle from the glue gun, start by removing the
silicon safety sleeve. Use an adjustable wrench to loosen and
remove the nozzle. Place the new nozzle on the threads and
use an adjustable wrench to securely tighten the nozzle. Place
the silicon safety sleeve over the new tip. The glue gun is now
ready for use.
ANTI-DRIP FEATURE
The anti-drip feature is activated by releasing the trigger which
will cut off the flow of glue into the channel. A small amount
of glue will remain in the tip when the trigger is released and
this will need to drain from the tip.
POP-UP STAND
When the glue gun is not in use, place the glue gun on the
pop-up stand (7). Do not lay the glue gun on its side. To open
the stand, press the button on the side of the gun (8). To
retract the stand, carefully fold into its original position.
HEADLIGHT
The headlight (9) will remain on when the glue gun is in one
of the "On" positions (Low/High). To turn the light off, slide
the switch (1) to the "Off" position.
