Setup Procedure
. Insert the FM Transmitter into the automobile ciga-
rette lighter or power socket. Firmly push the unit
securely into the socket. The FM Transmitter will turn
on instantly when connected to a live automobile
cigarette lighter or power socket.
2. Tune your car's FM stereo to an unused FM
frequency.
3. Plug the iPod Connector cable into the docking con-
nector on the iPod you wish to use.
4. Start your iPod. The FM Transmitter will automatically
begin transmitting the iPod's music to your car's FM
stereo on the selected FM frequency displayed on the
FM transmitter's screen.
5. Select the frequency from Step 2 above using the se-
lector arrows ‹ & › on the front of your SJM3130.
3 Memory Pre-sets
The SJM3130 provides 3 memory presets to make chang-
ing frequencies easy and convenient.
Simply find a radio frequency with little or no interfer-
ence, and firmly depress one of the 3 buttons on the
front of the unit, beneath the LCD display. Hold the but-
ton for approximately 2 to 3 seconds until display light
on the transmitter blinks. This will store the frequency
into memory. Store up to 2 more frequencies utilizing
the remaining buttons.
When your Philips FM Transmitter is turned off and re-
started, the memory feature will conveniently retune to
the frequency you were using.
