Operation and maintenance
Remove all packaging of the device.
Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home.
Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around
the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
Use
The device is adjustable with the color controller (No. 8) of just crispy roasted to dark brown.
To achieve the degree of browning desired, you can experiment with the setting. Also the
quality and condition of the bread is a factor. Dry and stale bread toasts more quickly, fresh
and frozen bread take a little longer. Do not use a knife, cutlery or any other object to remove
the bread from the device or to clean the device. If the bread becomes lodged in the toaster,
unplug the appliance before attempting to remove it. Caution! Bread can burn.
Put bread slices in the bread grooves (No. 2). You can place 4 slices in the device.
The device has two separately adjustable bread grooves, left and right.
Make sure the crumb trays (No. 4) are completely positioned in place before using.
Plug the power cord into the ground earthed outlet.
By using four bread grooves, you should set both control panels, left and right.
Turn the color controller (no. 8) to your desired position. Position 1 is just crisp, position 6 is
dark. The centre positions is gold brown. Press the carriage handle(s) (No. 3) completely down
and toast will begin.
Once the bread has been toasted to your selected color, the carriage handle(s) will
automatically jump up.
During toasting, you can check the color of the bread. If it is satisfying, you press the cancel
button (No. 5) to cancel the operation at any time.
If the bread comes from the refrigerator perform the same operations, press the defrost button
(No. 7). The indicator will be illuminated. In this mode the bread will be toasted to your desired
color.
If you want to reheat the cold toasted bread, press the reheat button (No. 6) and the indicator
of it will be illuminated. In this mode toasting time is fixed, so long as time is running over.
The carriage handle(s) (No. 4) will automatically spring up and end up the reheating process.
Place the top rack (No. 1) on the device for heating kinds of bread which don't fit in the bread
grooves.
Cleaning the device
Remove the plug from the outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth. Never use metal polish.
Pull out the crumb trays (No. 4) on the bottom of the toaster and empty it.
If the toaster is used frequently, accumulated bread crumbs should removed at least once a
week. When the device is not in use or for storage, the power cord may be wound under the
bottom of the toaster.
