The ZBA6 is a kit consisting of: a NIMH 24 V battery with a capacity of 2200 mAh and a battery charger capable of charging lead-acid and NiMH 24 V
batteries, all contained in a dedicated plastic box. The ZBA6 can be installed on the following equipment: RS05, RS06, RS07 and RS08
The battery charger is equipped with voltage and current charging control, temperature control for NiMH batteries, battery disconnection and mains failure
control with automatic switching.
Battery charging is also regulated by a timer, which prevents overcharging by setting it on trickle charging.
By pressing button P1 you can stop charging, restart or reset the voltage when a battery is inserted with the board switched off.
If charging occurs during a power failure, charging will resume automatically when power returns.
Power failure is monitored directly by the input voltage or by an optional additional opto-isolated input.
In the event of a power failure with the battery voltage too low, to prevent damaging the battery, it will be disconnected and the battery charger will switch off:
When power returns the battery charger will switch on and start charging the battery.
The battery charger is protected by a 15 AF fuse F1 against overcurrent or short-circuiting, and a 500 mAF fuse F2 against any reversal of polarity or charging
over-current.
