5. Protect themotor from moisture.
a. Provide protection from rain, snow, lawn sprinklers, etc.
b. Locate motor on a slight elevation so that the water will not run or puddle nearby.
c. Do not spill or drip liquid chemicals on or near the motor.
d. Do not splash water on or near the motor.
e. Do not wrap the motor with plastic or other air tight materials (exception - the motor may be covered during
a storm, when hosing, winter storage, etc., never when the motor is running or expected to be running).
In mild climate area - when temporary freezing conditions may occur, run your filtering equipment all night to prevent
freezing.

CAUTION
Remedy
Make sure suction lines, pump strainer, and pump volute are air tight. Make sure
valve on suction line is working and open (some systems do not have valves.)
Check water level to make sure water is available through skimmer. Secure lid
on pump pot and make sure lid 0-ring is in place.
Clean pump strainer.
