3. Insert the cautery electrode into the handle tightly up
to the limit.
4. Turn the power controller clockwise and set to the
position 3 - 4.
5. The green "Power ON" pilot lamp is illuminated. At
the same time, the red "Sterilizing" pilot lamp is also
illuminated. This means that the unit is prepared to go
through an automatic process for sterilization of the
electrode tip.
6. Press the activation button on the handle until the pilot
lamp goes out. The sterilization process is now
complete.
7. The electrode tip is now sterile and the unit is ready
for use.
8. Press the activation button (2) on the handle and turn
the temperature controller (4) slowly clockwise until
the electrode tip glows dark-red.
9. Release the activation button and allow the electrode
tip to cool.
Now it is possible to coagulate by pressing the button
again.

electrode. Light-red or white glowing reduces the service
life of the electrode considerably.
