Installing a Fro- If the Fronius Solar City Card is not installed as standard in the inverter, install the Fronius

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from grid voltage and DC volt-
age from solar modules.
- The inverter should only be opened by licensed electricians, Fronius service
technicians or Fronius service partners.
- Never work with live wires! Prior to all connection work, make sure that the
AC and DC wires are not charged.
- All electrical installations must be carried out in accordance with the National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, and any other codes and regulations appli-
cable to the installation site.
- For installations in Canada, the installations must be done in accordance with
applicable Canadian standards.
WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from residual voltage from ca-
pacitors.
You must wait until the capacitors have discharged. Discharge takes 3 minutes.
NOTE! Follow general ESD precautions when handling option cards.
NOTE! A Fronius Solar City card cannot be combined with the following compo-
nents because the Fronius SolarCity card operates in a similar fashion to a data-
logger:
- Fronius Datalogger pro card or box
- Fronius Datalogger easy card or box
- Fronius Datalogger & Interface box
- Fronius Datalogger Web
- Fronius Personal Display DL
NOTE! When installing the Fronius SolarCity card into the inverter, you should
follow all relevant information in the inverter operating instructions especially the
safety rules.
