Relay programming with Proportional Control
LIMIT
Optimal value. pH or mV value at which the sample
must be mantained.
Tolerance. Zone around the optimal value, that is also
accepted as correct, and therefore does not activate
any control.
If only one limit relay is used, the tolerance can be
positive or negative, defining the limit as maximum or
minimum.
If 2 limit relays are configured then the tolerance is syme-
tric around the optimal value: if the tolerance is positive,
L1 is the maximum limit and L2 is the minimum limit. If the
tolerance is negative it is just the other way round.

MEASURE pH & °C
Note: During Configuration the instrument is in Hold state:
MEASURE
• Limit and cleaning contact relays are opened. (Alarm OFF).
pH 7.34
25.2 °C
• Current output is frozen at the value programmed in Hold.
To quit the Hold state it is necessary to return to measure.
The Current output 4 to 20 and the Relays will activate
in 10 sec.

Cycle time
2 s
Proportional band. Zone where the control is carried
out. In this area the control signal is active during a
time "proportional" to the distance between the reading
and the limits of the tolerance band.
Cycle time (2 to 99 sec.). It defines the relay activation
time in the proportional band.
Depending on the distance between the reading and
the limits of the tolerance band, the relay will be activa-
ted a percentage of the programmed cycle time.time

control, page 25.
