1. Intended use

The mini IR illuminator enhances the night vision function of day & night cameras. The IR rays emitted,
which are reflected on the monitored area and also reach the camera's image sensor, brighten the
monitored area at night time. The IR illuminator's photo sensor enables it to switch on and off
automatically.
The IR illuminator is suitable for both infrared-compatible black/white and day/night cameras. It is
mounted directly on the camera. Two power LEDs supply infrared light for night recording with a
wavelength of 850 nm.

Photo sensor
There is a photo sensor inside the device which automatically switches the illuminator on and off.
When the light intensity falls below 2 lux, the illuminator turns on automatically.
On the back of the illuminator, there is a 1/4" thread for installing the illuminator with a mount.
