Operation and use
Plug the appliance to the mains socket.
Turn the master switch on E to heat the various parts of
the appliance. The light H turns on.
The light on the iron turns on F. When the chosen tempe-
rature is reached, the light goes off. While ironing the light
goes on and off automatically.
The ironing surface reaches the working temperature in a
few minutes. A thermostat sets the temperature automati-
cally.
As the water is heated pressure is generated within the
boiler. When the working pressure is reached, the steam-
ready light turns on G.
Do not press the steam button before the steam-ready
light turns on. While ironing, the emission of steam and
during the breaks this light cycles on and off automatical-
ly. This is normal and you do not have to wait for the light
to recommence ironing.
When the pressure within the boiler reaches the correct
level, the power to the heating element is automatically

interrupted.
A safety thermostat will also interrupt the current going to
the heating element if the boiler temperature is too high.
Another safety feature is the valve in the safety cap of the
tank, which will expel steam safely if the boiler pressure
becomes too high.
