Description of the components
Air intake
The air from the room enters the air condi-
tioner through the air filters that eliminate
dust. (Fig. 1)
Air outlets
The conditioned air leaves the unit through
four outlets, in four directions. (Fig. 1)
Control system model MKC, MKH, HKH
and HKY
The wireless remote control unit: Controls
the ON/OFF operation of the control sys-
tem, operating mode selection, temperature
setting, fan speed, timer and the Sleep pro-
gram. (Fig. 1)
Control system model HKH and HKY
Ambient thermostat: Electromechanical with
three switches for Heat- Cool, On/Off and
fan speed: high-medium-low.
Control valve and tubing model HKH and
HKY
The Fan-Coil should be controlled by a 3-
way valve located as close to the unit as
possible.
Adequately insulate water pipes and the
control valve so as to avoid condensation.
(Figs. 1 and 3)
Drain tubing
Condensed water in the indoor unit is
drained to the exterior by means of a pump
and outlet tubing. In the heat pump outdoor
units, drainage is carried out by gravity
through the outlet tubing.
Purger model HKH and HKY
Once the water circuit is full, all air from the
coil should be removed by means of a
purger. (Figs. 3 and 4)
Refrigerant tubing model MKC, MKH
The indoor and outdoor units are intercon-
nected by copper tubing through which the
refrigerant gas flows. Fig. 2 (5)
Outdoor unit for model MKC, MKH
The outdoor unit is made up of the com-
pressor, fan motor, exchanger coil and other
electric components. Fig. 2 (7)
