Operating Instructions
1) Plug heat gun into properly rated outlet.
2) For COOL temperature, press the switch to
the center position (I).
3) For HEAT, press the switch to the high
position (II). It is important to press the switch
progressively through each position. If you
press directly from O to II, the heat gun will not
operate and 'OFF' will show in the display. If
this happens, return the switch to O then press
to I and then to II.
4) To adjust the airflow, press the up/down
arrows on left side of keypad. To adjust
temperature, press the up/down arrows on
right side of keypad. The number of bars
above the arrows in the LCD correspond to the
amount of airflow and temperature.
5) For OFF, press switch to the O position.

Preprogrammed heat-airflow settings:
To move to each program (1-5), press the
P button. The program number will show at
top of the LCD readout and the heat gun will
adjust to the new settings.

To program new settings: Whenever you adjust the temperature or airflow, a bar will appear
in the LCD for a few seconds. While this bar is showing, save the new settings to the current
Program by pressing the bent arrow button. Caution: The old settings will be permanently
replaced by the new. Note: If you press the bent arrow when the bar is NOT showing in the
display, the temperature readout will switch between Fahrenheit/Celsius (see above).

3) Press both blue buttons
again. See bars have dis-
appeared and icon is locked.
To unlock, repeat the three
steps (l-e-f-t, right, left). The
icon will then show unlocked.

To change between Fahrenheit and Celsius:
Press the bent arrow for 5 seconds. Caution:
This button has 2 functions. If you press it too
quickly after changing temperature or airflow, it
will act in its Save mode (see below).
