Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. If you do not pay attention to these instructions, your baby may run a
serious risk.
• WARNING: always remove the cot top changer when the child is in
the cot.
• WARNING: the distance between the top of the mattress and the top
of the cot must be at least 50 cm.
• Warning: be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong
heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc in the near vicinity of the cot.
• Warning: Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and
use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
• Warning: Do not live anything in the cot or place the cot close to
another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger
of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc.
• Warning: Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
• Do not add additional mattresses. Only use the mattress supplied
with the Silver Dream travel cot.
• As soon as the child is able to get out of bed by himself the cot must
no longer be used for this child as he could have a fall.
• The lowest position for the cot base is the safest. The base should
always be used in this position once the baby is old enough to sit
down.
• Make sure all the parts of the assembly are always properly tightened,
regularly checked and retightened if necessary. Take particular care
to ensure that no screws are undone because a child could catch a
part of his or her body or clothing on them (e.g.: ties, necklaces, cords
for pacifiers, etc.), which could present a danger of strangulation.
• Make sure that no object can provide support for the child's foot or
present a danger of suffocation or strangulation.
• Make sure that the locking mechanisms for the folding system are
correctly latched before use.
• After using the travel cot for a long period of time, make sure that all
the parts are properly locked.
• To avoid any risk of suffocation, remove the plastic cover before using
this article. This cover should then be destroyed or stored out of reach
of babies and children.
• WARNING: Do not leave the bay unsupervised.
• Be sure to place the changing mat at the end of one of the sides
("window" or "pouch" side) of the travel cot, as shown by the arrows.
