When the pilot light is on:
The appliance is on.
The heating coils heat the food.
To switch on

Set the time switch to the desired time.
The appliance is on.
The pilot light beneath the time switch is on.

Set the time switch to the desired time.
The appliance is on.
The pilot light above the time switch is on.
Set the thermostat switch to the desired temperature.
The pilot lights above the thermostat switch are on.
The heating coils heat the food.
To switch off
The appliance switches off automatically after the selected time has passed.
